“Everyday there is something new, new people, new places, new feelings, new ideas.”

It began when I was a kid. I enjoyed playing with color pencils and doing things with my hands. That has not changed throughout the years. Everything I paint comes from my everyday life. The things I learn, the people I meet, and the places I go all inspire me. Being a self-taught artist also makes me an inventor. I create my own tool to work with and experiment with. In my paintings I use anything from spatulas, forks, sandpaper, pieces of wood, and many other things to give texture. Contemporary and figurative styles are my passion, but I also enjoy making  portraits, landscapes, nature, and abstract. When it comes to my medium, I enjoy mixing them to give different effects. I use oil, acrylics, indian inks, and watercolor. I like painting with liberty and that is what I express in my pieces. Art is simple and complex, like people and has to be felt.
